    The pressure of building London's Olympic stadium in 2012 was "absolutely crazy", the architect behind the project has told the BBC.

    Mayor's Question Time begins at City Hall at 10:00. 

    Questions include: 

    • In addition to your current cycling strategy, what further measures are you planning to increase cycling in London? 
    • Are you concerned about the impact of the proposed junior doctor's contract on the ability of London to attract essential medical professionals? 
    • Chief constables across the country have suggested they would support police patrol cars being used to carry advertisements in order to raise extra revenue. Does the Metropolitan Police Service intend to introduce similar such schemes, and what assessment has been made of their effectiveness?

  4. Ken Livingstone 2005 speech: 'Nothing you do will stop the flight to our cities where freedom is strong'published at 09:27 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2015

    Mr Livingstone was mayor when London was targeted by suicide bombers on 7 July 2015 killing 52 people.

    He made a speech about resilience in the face of terrorism which has been shared on social media in the wake of the attacks in Paris.

    A Met police officer is still running a Sussex gym with a convicted man after his employers told him to stop.

    PC Glen Oliver set up a gym in Crawley with Daniel Bell, from Horley, who was convicted of GBH with three Surrey men at a retrial in Crete in September.

    Robert Hughes was left brain-damaged after he was attacked in Malia in 2008.

    The Metropolitan Police has told the PC his business is not compatible with his role. PC Oliver, who is appealing, said he believed he could still run the gym.

  8. Travel: Storm Barney disrupt a number of train linespublished at 08:22

    Storm Barney has been battering parts of the country with strong winds and heavy rain. 

    Fallen trees and other debris are disrupting trains on a number of lines, including Greater Anglia between Liverpool street and Cambridge, and the Stansted Express.

    On the Tubes:

    • There is no service on London Overground between Harrow and Wealdstone and Watford Junction and severe delays between Harrow and Wealdstone and London Euston because of a fallen tree at Watford Junction.  

    • Minor delays on the Bakerloo Line between Queens Park and Harrow And Wealdstone due to obstruction on the line.  

    • And severe delays on the Central Line between North Acton and Ealing Broadway, and between North Acton and West Ruislip. There are minor delays on the rest of the line due to earlier obstruction on the line at Hanger Lane.
