Liberal Democrat candidate for London Mayor Caroline Pidgeon tells Vanessa we have "got to invest in training construction workers" to help solve the housing crisis.
She says she would build 50,000 more council houses.
Ms Pidgeon also says she would ban HGVs at peak times in rush hours to keep the roads safe.
"There are too many lorries on the roads in London - they weren't built for them," she adds.
