    There was a 2.4% swing from the Conservatives to Labour with Len Duvall winning the seat.

    Keith Prince won with 37.7% of the vote.

    The results have been declared for City & East with Labour holding the seat.

    The City and East constituency is made up of the London boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Newham, Tower Hamlets and the City of London.

    Unmesh Desai easily won the seat but lost votes compared to 2012.

    There was a 3% swing from the Conservatives to Labour with Onkar Sahota winning the constituency.

    After four constituency results out of 14 have been declared in the London Assembly election the turnout is 716,304 (46.09%, +7.03%).

    Former London Mayor Ken Livingstone has commented on the anti-Semitism row that engulfed Labour last week.

    He told the BBC News Channel others in Labour made an issue of it and told the critics: "You've cost us seats all over the country."

    Leonie Cooper won 42% of the vote to give Labour a majority of 2.3%.

    So much for the predicted low turnout.

    It looks like many more voters went to the polling stations than in 2012, with a possible overall turnout of over 40%.

    Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says "there is no chance of the Euros" for the 22-year-old, who is expected to be out for a further six to eight weeks.

    Oxlade-Chamberlain suffered his initial knee injury in the Champions League defeat by Barcelona on 23 February.
