    Sadiq Khan has been accused of "watering down" his manifesto promise target of 50% affordable housing in all new developments in London. 

    Tory Chairman of the London Assembly Housing Committee Andrew Boff told BBC London Mr Khan's promises are "evaporating like a mist on Hackney marshes".

    "Even with the watered down figure of 35%, he's actually said that if you come forward with a good enough excuse I'll let you build even less" he said.

    Kent Police is appealing for help in finding a 30-year-old Canterbury man who has been reported missing.

    Wayne Stirrups was in Cardiff on Thursday 17 November but was thought to be making his way back to Kent.

    He was last seen in the Trafalgar Square area of London on Saturday 26 November.

    Inspector Gordon Etheridge said: "Wayne’s friends and family are understandably concerned about his welfare and we urge him or anyone who may have seen him to contact us."

    Anyone with information should call Kent Police on 101 quoting reference 18-1174.

    Malcolm Lall, 51, failed to return to Ford Prison on Monday 21 November, after being allowed to leave temporarily the previous Friday. 

    He is serving eight-and-a-half years for grievous bodily harm and robbery offences in Brighton after being convicted in December 2013. 

    He has links to Brighton and surrounding areas, but also has connections in Kent, London, Surrey and Hampshire.
