    Almost 11 million viewers tuned in live to see Harry Redknapp crowned King of the Jungle on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, overnight ratings show.

    The ex-Tottenham and West Ham manager beat fellow finalists Emily Atack and John Barrowman on the ITV reality show.

    He was a popular winner and the programme itself has been a hit this year, with an average of 10.8 million watching Sunday's final live.

    Those are the highest ratings the show's final has had for five years.

    Forty firefighters battled the blaze at the shop in Marble Arch after London Fire Brigade were called at 06:30 GMT.

    The fire, which was under control at 08:20, damaged a small part of the building.

    About 40 people were evacuated from flats as a precaution but nobody was injured.

    The cause of the fire is under investigation, the brigade said.

    More than 100 documents about Crossrail including board minutes from the project have been released by Transport for London (TfL).

    The papers, which date back to 2003,, external appear to show that at a meeting on 26 July, Crossrail bosses told the mayor and TfL executives the 9 December opening date was at "high risk".

    However, they the delay was not officially confirmed by the project's board until 29 August.

    Sadiq Khan said the documents "confirm that I have been fully transparent about what I knew when."

    Sir Terry Morgan, who resigned on Wednesday as Crossrail's chair, had claimed some delays to the project had been the fault of the TfL.

    A second woman has died following a house fire in Tottenham.

    It took about 25 firefighters more than an hour to control the blaze in an end-of-terrace house in St Loys Road, Tottenham, on Friday.

    Both victims were rescued from the first floor of the building and taken to hospital. One, aged in her 70s, was pronounced dead on Friday while the other died earlier.

    One man was able to leave the property before fire crews arrived.

    London Fire Brigade said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

    The opening of Crossrail will be delayed beyond Autumn 2019 and the project will require an estimated £1.3bn to £1.7bn of funds for it to be completed, Transport for London has announced.

    A loan of £1.3bn will provided by the Department of Transport while the Greater London Authority will also provide £100m of cash.

    New Chief Executive of Crossrail, Mark Wild, also confirmed the Autumn 2019 opening date "could no longer be committed to at this stage", and his team was "working on a robust and deliverable schedule."

    Sadiq Khan said the new arrangement will mean "Crossrail’s new leadership can get the job done."

    YouTube has awarded two charities £600,000 to help them tackle the dangers young people can face when using social media.

    The money will help bolster the process of identifying violent online content and prevent it from reappearing.

    The fund will also help Catch22 and Redthread train about 500 social and youth workers to help them deal with the challenges young at-risk people face when using social media.

    London Mayor Sadiq Khan has previously called for YouTube to do more to tackle violent knife videos.

    Police are investigating after a bottle was thrown towards players during a Premier League football match between Crystal Palace and Newcastle.

    The Met Police issued an image of a man they want to identify in relation to the disorder at Selhurst Park on 22 September.

    They've asked for anyone who knows the man in the photo to get in touch.

    When Rupert Hunt set up a flat-sharing website he never guessed that he'd one day need to use the service himself.

    Rupert launched London-based SpareRoom back in 2004, aged 29, to try to offer people an easier way of finding or filling a room in a shared house.

    He very much expected that most of the users would be students, or people in their 20s.

    Then in 2013, aged 38, he separated from his wife, and found that he didn't like living on his own. So for the first time he signed up as a user of his own business.

    Govia Thameslink says it is introducing 200 new services including on its Thameslink routes, in the fourth timetable in six months.

    Most services on Southern and Gatwick Express will remain unchanged GTR said.

    Additional peak services will operate across the network from Cambridge, Peterborough, Brighton, St Albans, Horsham, Rainham, Luton, Orpington, East Grinstead, Bedford and on the Wimbledon loop, a spokesman said.

    The company's chief executive officer, Patrick Verwer said lessons had been learned after the May timetable changes.

    A 17-year-old boy who was arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in south-east London has been released with no further action, police said.

    An 18-year-old boy died at the scene of the attack yesterday in Prior Street, Greenwich.

    There have been no other arrests, the Metropolitan Police said.

    More than 120 murder investigations have been launched across London this year.

    Cuts to legal aid have created "deserts" of provision across England and Wales, a BBC investigation found.

    Analysis shows up to a million people live in areas with no legal aid provision for housing, with a further 15 million in areas with one provider.

    The BBC's Shared Data Unit analysed data since 2011-12 and found:

    • About a million fewer claims for legal aid are being processed each year
    • More than 1,000 fewer legal aid providers were paid for civil legal aid work than in 2011-12
    • Four legal aid providers for welfare cover Wales and the South West while 41 cover London and the South East
    • Almost half of all community care legal aid providers are based in London
