Crystal Palace have nothing to play for other than to give manager Roy Hodgson a decent send-off and they have started in very positive fashion, forcing Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson into some early work and missing that glorious chance through Andros Townsend.
Liverpool have been very tentative, although Mo Salah is an early threat.
Really good atmosphere with 10,000 fans inside Anfield, plenty willing to clear their throats after months of shouting at the telly.

Roy Hodgson has just walked along the touchline at Anfield to a sound that will have sounded very strange - applause from Liverpool supporters.
It was barely seven or eight games into his short and unhappy reign at Liverpool that he heard loud chants for the return of Sir Kenny Dalglish, who was overlooked when Hodgson was appointed, as manager.
Hodgson, being a gentleman and set for his final game at Crystal Palace, set that treatment to one side and returned the applause.
Only 6.2 overs are possible on day four at Northampton but a draw puts Lancashire top of Group Three.
