Liverpool staged one of the most dramatic comebacks Anfield has seen to overcome Borussia Dortmund in a classic and reach the Europa League semi-finals.

Jurgen Klopp's side were twice left needing three goals to go through in the face of Dortmund's rapier attacks - but climbed the mountain twice with Dejan Lovren's injury-time header from James Milner's cross concluding a night packed with drama and emotion.  

Ten people have been charged with drugs offences, following police raids across Sefton yesterday. 

They will appear before South Sefton Magistrates this morning.

Liverpool won a game that will be talked about for generations - a Europa League quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund that will live forever in the memory of all at Anfield.

Emotion. Drama. Excitement. Brilliant football. Noise. Colour. And all this even before Liverpool's Dejan Lovren rose high at the far post in front of The Kop in injury time to secure a 4-3 victory that will rank alongside the great dramas staged at this sporting theatre.  

Manchester City and Liverpool will discover their respective Champions League and Europa League semi-final opponents in Friday's draws.

The Champions League draw will be at 10:30 BST and City, who will be managed by Pep Guardiola next season, could face the Spaniard's Bayern Munich side.

Police across Merseyside and Cheshire have been taking part in a week-long operation targeting rogue traders, loan sharks and distraction burglars. 

They've been carrying out checks on businesses together with Trading Standards, as well as stops on the roads. 

Last year's Operation Rogue Trader saw 121 people arrested across the country.
