    The "Homework" project is part of four central features of the Build Your Own exhibition which runs until 3 January.

    The artists' theme is re-purposing: taking building materials from derelict houses and turning them into objects of utility and beauty.

  4. Abandoned seal pup 'twins' to undergo DNA testspublished at 17:29

    Two seal pups born at Horsey 10 days ago are to have DNA tests to check they're definitely twins.

    Earlier we showed you a video of the pups, thought to be the UK's first grey seal twins, who are now being cared for by a rescue cente after being abandoned by their mum.

    It's not clear if the mother herself rejected them or if it was as a result of people disturbing them while taking photos.

    More sponsors are being sought to help ex-servicemen and women who have become homeless in west Norfolk.

    As reported in the Lynn News, external, a fuel company has rented a flat for the next two months to give someone shelter over the worst of the winter.

    Becki Slack persuaded her boss at Terrington Gas and Fuels to pay the bill and the King's Lynn-based charity Bridge for Heroes, external is providing practical help.

    The tourism industry and businesses in Great Yarmouth are hoping a new advert to be shown on YouTube, external and regional television will help bring more people to the area.

    The ad is made up of a series of 15 mini-films featuring different aspects of Greater Yarmouth.

    Nearly 25% of all holiday nights spent in Norfolk and Suffolk combined are taken in the borough, according to the Greater Yarmouth Tourism and Business Improvement Area, external.

  9. A47: Overnight restrictions and closures at Postwickpublished at 16:59

    Drivers face eastbound lane closures on the A47 at Postwick and the full closure of the new slip road for three nights from tonight.

    Traffic will be diverted around the A47 Cucumber Lane roundabout and back to the Postwick junction via the westbound A47.

    Norfolk County Council, externalsays the restrictions will take place between 20:00 and 06:00 to allow surfacing, white-lining and the installation of new signs.

    Police are appealing for witnesses to find out how a lorry full of turkeys overturned on Daniels Road in Norwich yesterday.

    The road between the roundabout and the A140 junction was closed while recovery work took place to right the lorry and to remove 600 birds.

    The lorry driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

    Police re- investigating a murder committed 31 years ago are appealing for witnesses who may have decided not to speak to them at the time to come forward.

    Peter Miller, 24, was found dead with a stab wound to his chest at his home in Great Yarmouth. 

    His brother, Tony Miller has this morning handed out leaflets to the public and presented the police with a formal complaint after they admitted losing some evidence in the case.

    Police who have admitted losing evidence in a 31-year-old murder case say it's "not fatal" to the case.

    Peter Miller was stabbed to death in his home in Great Yarmouth.

    This morning his brother, Tony handed in a petition to the police to officially complain about the loss of the material.
