  2. Gorleston fire: Fire crews did all they couldpublished at 11:24

    I've been speaking to people who live in Daphne Way, Gorleston, this morning, and they've been telling me about the fire last night, when firefighters spent several hours containing a 3m (8.4ft) flaming gas jet. 

    Carol Barber, who looked after a neighbour, said it was very scary but the firefighters were doing all they could.

    A woman who helped save the life of her neighbour's four-week-old baby is urging people to learn basic first aid skills.

    Emily White, of Foulsham, seen here with her own child, performed CPR on Tina Westlake's son Kane, after he stopped breathing from choking on milk.

    Emily said her "instinct kicked in... I started rescue breaths and CPR, and called for an ambulance".

  5. Three-vehicle accident closes A47published at 09:36

    Emergency services are on the scene of a three-vehicle accident on the A47 at East Winch.

    The Lynn Road is blocked in both directions near to the junction with Hall Farm.

    Traffic is queueing in both directions. It's not known if anyone has been injured.

  6. Fighting Gorleston house fire 'was very difficult'published at 09:10

    The fire station manager called to the scene of a fire in a terraced house in Gorleston last night says it was one of the most complicated he's ever had to fight.

    John Wilby says crews quickly realised a gas main within the house had fractured, and firefighters had to contain a 3m (8.4ft) flaming gas jet.

  7. Fire forces families to evacuate their homespublished at 08:37

    A number of families were evacuated from their homes in Gorleston last night after a fire in a row of terraced houses.

    Five fire crews spent three hours fighting the blaze in Daphne Way, which broke out at 18:00.

    Station manager John Wilby of Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, external said it was a complicated fire to fight, as they discovered that a gas main inside the house had fractured and caught fire.
