Instead of the normal LGBT+ gathering in the city centre, organisers are planning to take the celebrations online, as well as encouraging people to rainbow up their houses, streets and workplaces.
Jo Caulfield, chairperson of Norwich Pride, said: "Over the years Norwich Pride has been hugely successful in getting shops, businesses and civic buildings in the city centre to fly the rainbow flag.
To create the virtual march, Norwich Pride is asking people to send in, external rainbow films, photos and messages by 10 July.
"We want to keep that fabulous party atmosphere that we all conjure in Chapelfield Gardens. We want everyone to celebrate all the talent we have in our city. Dance, song, magic, spoken word, music, hooping… what would you like to contribute towards our show?" it said.

Intu, which owns some of the UK's biggest shopping centres, has appointed administrators as a "contingency" in case financial rescue talks fail.
In March, the owner of company that runs Lakeside in Essex, Chapelfield in Norwich, and centres in Watford and Milton Keynes, said it was in talks with lenders about new funding.
Intu had been struggling before coronavirus to fill outlets at some of its sites, and had heavy debts.
Intu said "notwithstanding the progress made" it had appointed KPMG to plan for administration.
The firm's financial woes include making a loss of £2bn in 2019, failing earlier this year to raise £1bn in new funding, and having debts of £5bn.
