Parking charges are going up at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, external from tomorrow.
The hospital says the changes are the first increase since 2004. It essentially means short stays will be more expensive.
The hospital says it's reluctantly increasing prices, but they go directly into patient care and are in line with Department of Health guidance.
The new charges start at £3 for parking between 30 mins to 2 hours.
Richard Parker, chief operating officer, said: "The Trust is facing a challenging financial position and we have had to make some tough decisions.
"We hope that our visitors and patients will understand why we are making these changes."
The hospital says it also uses funds to subsidise the unit's park and ride services by £96,000 every year.
