    I've been down to Sixfields to speak to assistant manager Alan Knill who told me he never expected manager Chris Wilder to be as outspoken about the takeover as he was on Saturday.

    But he said that way staff has been treated was "not right" and Wilder spoke for "dozens of voiceless staff".

  5. Number of people treated with malnutrition rises at Kettering General Hospitalpublished at 12:20

    Freedom of Information (FOI) figures show the number of people treated for malnutrition is on the rise across the country, including at Kettering General Hospital.

    36 cases of malnutrition were treated at Kettering General Hospital in 2014

    The figures were revealed following an FOI request by Birmingham City University student Eiryo Saeki to NHS foundation trusts, of which 43 responded.

    Northampton General Hospital did not respond.

    Northampton Town captain and striker Marc Richards has taken to social media to speak about the ongoing takeover, external at the club saying "for too this long dragged out and now it's time for it to be resolved".

    The 33-year-old said that players and staff "can only stay quiet for so long" and that "too many lives are bring toyed with".

  8. Northamptonshire Nepal charity doubles money normally raisedpublished at 10:20

    The Mondo Challenge Foundation, external, based at Milton Malsor, has supported community-based programmes in Nepal for 10 years, raising around £250,000 a year.

    However, since the earthquake in Nepal in April it's raised £400,000 and is on target to reach £500,000 by March.

  13. Businessmen could takeover Cobblers but only as 'caretakers'published at 08:56

    A number of local businessmen including the former Northampton South MP, Brian Binley, have said they would take over the Northampton Town on "caretaker" basis.

    The group says talks have taken place with current chairman David Cardoza as well as Kelvin Thomas whose consortium has been in talks to buy the club.
