The trial of Northamptonshire Police detective Adrian 'Otis' Goldsmith, 49, accused of killing his wife Jill has heard from Adrian Goldsmith's son, Michael.
He described his step mother Jill Goldsmith, 49, as an angry drug addict with a temper.
He told the court that after moving into his father's house she commandeered areas of it and would not allow him or his siblings to enter.
The court also heard from Jill Goldmith's son, who said he'd get out of the house as often as he could and thought Mr Goldsmith had two sides.
Mr Goldsmith denied murder. The trial at Stafford Crown Court continues.
