Police were called to the Billing Brook Road area near to the A43 at 13.45.
Officers have closed the road between the A43 and North Holme Court to conduct investigations.
The closure is likely to remain in place for 24 hours. Police are asking motorists to avoid the area if possible.

We understand the police inquiry is far ranging and isn't restricted to investigations into former Cobblers chairman David Cardoza, who the BBC understands was arrested yesterday.
Det Chief Insp Paul Spicer said: "This remains a very complex investigation and, as such, it would be inappropriate for us to make any further comment at this time."

The BBC understands former Cobblers chairman David Cardoza has been arrested as part of a police investigation into what happened to £10.25m loan to the football club.
The money was meant for redevelopment at Sixfields, including a new East Stand, improvements in the West Stand and the development of land nearby. But the work on the East Stand ground to a halt after contractors said they were not paid.
Northampton Borough Council called in the loan after missed payments. The money has still not been repaid.
Back in November, the police started an investigation into "alleged financial irregularities" after a formal complaint from Northampton Borough Council and removed documents from Sixfields.
Mr Cardoza hasn't been at the club since November, when a takeover was agreed with a consortium lead by the former Oxford chairman Kelvin Thomas.

The number of specials has more than doubled, to 636, since Adam Simmonds became police and crime commissioner. Mr Simmonds says a target of 900 specials by May will be achieved.

A weekend closure due to be in place this weekend as part of a £2.7m scheme to build a new gyratory at Mereway in Northampton has been put back a week.
There will lane restrictions and closures from February 5 to February 8, with a full closure from 18:00 on Sunday, 7 February to 06:00 on Monday, 8 February.
