Police chased a vehicle for nearly an hour overnight, external after it failed to stop in Daventry.

This evening, it will gradually turn cloudy with some scattered showers also expected. It will be pretty chilly still as well, with lows of 2-4C (35-29F).

Earlier today I was at the Corby Cube where there is a conference on homophobic and transphobic bullying.
John Padwick, a tutor at Kettering youth charity Youthworks said schools should "make sure that all bullying is reported".
He also told me schools need to "make sure in the curriculum they are referring to lesbian, bisexual, gay and transsexual because all those people have been around in history and done great things, but sometimes those things are noticed".

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) said it had started its investigation today into the Northamptonshire Police response to the missing persons report for India Chipchase.
India, 20, was reported missing by her family on 30 January and her body was found the following day. A 51-year-old man has been charged with her murder.
The IPCC said the investigation will initially focus on the actions and decisions made by police dealing with the missing persons report by Miss Chipchase's family.
