Schools inspector Ofsted has published the outcome of a focused inspection of the academy chain, E-ACT, half of which, they say, are not providing a good standard of education. The letter, which contain several criticisms, external, says standards in the secondary academies are too low.
E-ACT runs the Parker E-ACT Academy in Daventry, which following an inspection in December was removed from special measures and judged to require improvement.
The chain also runs DSLV E-ACT Academy in Daventry, which was not inspected in December but was rated Inadequate - serious weaknesses - in June 2015.
E-ACT said it has radically overhauled how it's run.
