    Police say divers who spent four days searching Eastfield Park lake in Northampton as part of the David Brickwood murder investigation have recovered "a number of items".

    Mr Brickwood was stabbed in his own home in the Abington area of the town in September 2015.

    Det Insp Phil Mills, from the investigation team, says it's too early to say whether the items are related to the case, but they will now undergo a forensic examination.

    Police have not specified what sort of items were found or how many.

    Northamptonshire Police said six arrests were made when spectators from the away stand invaded the pitch and a further three when flares were let-off.

    Match reports said the fans were protesting against the Coventry club's owners.  

    Coventry City called the disruption "unacceptable". The arrested men have been bailed.
