Campaigners against warehouses planned between Raunds and Stanwick have reached a fundraising target of £6,000 to fight the application in the High Court.
The extension to Warth Park was approved by East Northamptonshire councillors in March, external.
Some people living nearby have now applied for a judicial review into the decision, which they claim is flawed.

The court action, if it goes ahead, will challenge the way the council reached its decision.

The NSPCC, external has referred more than 80 cases of children being left home alone in Northamptonshire to the police and social services in the past two years.
The referrals follow calls from concerned members of the public to the children's charity.
Although the law doesn't give a minimum age at which children can be left on their own, parents and carers can be prosecuted for neglect if children are put at risk of suffering or injury.
"Our advice is that children under the age of 16 should not be left alone overnight," Emily Cherry, from the NSPCC, told the BBC.
"Children under 12 are rarely mature enough to cope in an emergency, and of course babies and very young children should never be left home alone."
Worried callers to the NSPCC helpline have reported children being left alone overnight and young children having to feed themselves and use dangerous kitchen equipment.
Fifteen calls or emails from people in Northamptonshire asked for guidance on when a child could be left unattended. However, a further 84 were considered so serious by the NSPCC that they were passed on to Northamptonshire Police or social services to be followed up.
"We do know and understand that this is a really difficult time for parents," Ms Cherry said. "And where you don't have the clarity in the law and availability of child care, we know that parents will be making these decisions.
"But it must be done really clearly with the child's needs at heart, and their protection at heart."
