    One of the first bodies to be stored at the special centre at City Hospital for medical research is that of 92-year-old Ernest Yardley.

    The retired train driver died in July of COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)

    His daughter Beryl Tilley from Mansfield says her dad wasn't very cynical about his ill-health, but "practical about everything" and now she's been thinking about donating her body too.

    Jocelyn Rae and her doubles partner Anna Smith have won in straight sets - 6-3, 6-2.

    Their win means Team GB has completed a 3-0 win over South Africa.

    After going missing for 16 months Clive's owners had given up hope of finding him again.

    But the cat has been found living in a pet food warehouse in Stapleford - where he clearly never went hungry!

    He's now been reunited with his owner Tanya Irons from Toton.

    Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman is up for January's Manager of the Month award in the Championship.

    It's after the reds went unbeaten last month with two wins and three draws to their name.

    Twenty people have donated their bodies to medical science at a new national centre which has been set up at City Hospital in Nottingham.

    One of those who made the donation is Ernest Yardley who died last summer.

    His body is now being used by surgeons to help them improve their skills.

    Talking about the findings of the HMIC report, chief constable Chris Eyre said it "actually demonstrates positive work".

    He said when victims do not "engage" they pursue the offender over several weeks and have to build up enough evidence before they can make an arrest.

    He said they were working to improve services for children and their response to certain incidents, such as domestic abuse and missing children.

    Police have confirmed to us that Nottingham Girls' High School in Arboretum Street, Forest Fields was evacuated this morning because of a bomb scare.

    A spokesman said they had received a call shortly before 09:00 and pupils were taken "to a safe place" while officers searched the building.

    The force said the call was a hoax and surrounding roads had now all reopened.

    British Transport Police has sent out this photo of five young people they want to speak to about an assault on a train from Newark to Peterborough, external in November.

    A group of teenagers made inappropriate sexual comments towards a couple after boarding the train and then punched the 22-year-old man several times.

    Nottingham's Jocelyn Rae is in doubles action for Great Britain later today with her partner Anna Smith in the Fed Cup.

    Team GB are in the Euro-Africa Zone group one and will face South Africa today and Georgia tomorrow.

    Waverley Street has now reopened after police closed it for just 15 minutes this morning.

    NET says the tram service is back up and running again, but with some delays.

    In the report, external, Nottinghamshire Police was criticised for a six-month delay in arresting a man who was suspected of grooming a 14-year-old girl.

    In another case officers lost "potential evidence" in the case of a 10-year-old girl who had been groomed online,

    The review was carried out after an inspection in 2014 found a 16-year-old girl in police custody went without food or water for almost two days.
