    A large number of Ted Baker jackets have been stolen by thieves who broke in to an HGV lorry near Raynesway in Derby.

    It was parked near the junction of Bellmore Way and Quintin Road when the offenders forced the locks and climbed inside between 22:00 on 8 June and 03:00 the following morning.

    Derbyshire police would like to trace a jogger who was running past the area at about noon on 9 June, who found a discarded jacket and threw it over the fence at a logistics site in Fernhook Avenue.

    Severn Trent Water "missed opportunities" to prevent thousands of homes from being without safe water, the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) has said.

    More than 3,500 properties across Derbyshire and Leicestershire were left without safe water for 26 hours last March due to elevated levels of chlorine at a reservoir at Castle Donington.

    Severn Trent has been cautioned by the inspectorate after admitting the offence of supplying water unfit for human consumption.

    "We agree with the DWI’s decision and accept that on this occasion we let our customers down," a spokesperson for Severn Trent Water said.

    Two men, who were arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated offence, have been released on bail pending further inquiries, Nottinghamshire Police has said.

    Meat, believed to have been pork, was smeared on the door at the Al-Quba Masjid mosque in Sherwood.

    A union jack flag was also placed in their flower basket when Ramadan prayers were taking place on 18 June.

    Former Leicestershire fast bowler Jonathan Agnew (pictured left) has paid tribute to his retiring Test Match Special colleague Henry Blofeld.

    "Aggers" told BBC Sport: "I sit here now with real mixed feelings. Real sadness, I'll miss Henry. His enthusiasm, his company, his chaos.

    "Henry is one of those characters that really set up Test Match Special. It's the legacy of people like him who really developed this programme. People have tried to copy it ever since.

    "People like Henry have never lost that total enthusiasm you have for the game that you have as a fan."

    Blofeld, 77, will commentate on his final test match in September, when England host the West Indies at Lord's.

    Just one person was charged last year in Leicestershire under new coercive control laws.

    The figures from Leicestershire Police, obtained by BBC Radio Leicester via a freedom of information request, also show the force investigated more than six thousand allegations of domestic abuse.

    Dr Lynsey Gozna, a forensic psychologist at the University of Leicester, said: "It can be very difficult for people [victims] to identify what is happening, it can be much easier for people on the outside to see that.

    "It can mean that you become a prisoner in your own life in that someone else is telling you what you can and cannot do."

    The Crown Prosecution Service said a low number of people were being charged because it was often difficult to get enough evidence to secure a conviction.

    Businesses in Derbyshire are being encouraged to sponsor a public loo as part of budget cuts.

    Although there are no definite plans to close them, businesses and community groups are being asked to help fund cleaning and maintenance.

    Derbyshire Dales District Council, which manages 26 toilet blocks across the area, is reviewing how they're funded as part of budget cuts.

    A spokesman from the district council said: "Closure of any of the facilities would be an absolute last option, but we are conscious of the need to make savings of £1.6m across all our services over the next three years."

    Plans for up to 400 new homes close to a National Trust property have been overturned after a residents' campaign group challenged the decision.

    A High Court judge ruled that a government planning inspector got it wrong by opening the way for housing near Kedleston Hall in Derbyshire.

    Mrs Justice Lang said the inspector had "made an error of law".

    The Kedleston Voice campaign group has vowed to continue fighting any future appeal or planning application.

    Catesby Estates Limited, the developer behind the planning application, has been asked to comment.

    A tribute to Leicester's three-time World Snooker champion Mark Selby has gone up outside City Hall.

    The vinyl, on a board outside what used to be the Willie Thorne Snooker Centre, pays tribute to Selby's wins at the Crucible in 2014, 2016 and 2017.

    City mayor Sir Peter Soulsby told the BBC in May he would like to see a permanent mural to Selby, in a style similar to those that were used to celebrate Leicester City's Premier League title win.

    Two men have been arrested after meat, believed to have been pork, was smeared on the front door of a mosque.

    A union jack was also placed on the door at the Al-Quba Masjid mosque in Sherwood.

    Nottinghamshire Police have arrested two men, aged 27 and 30, on suspicion of a racially aggravated offence.

    Ramadan prayers were taking place when it happened in the early hours of 18 June.

    Adeela Ahmed from the mosque said two men had been seen "hanging around" outside.

    She said: "When they thought everyone had left, they decided to put some meat, which was more than likely pork, onto the door and they got a union jack flag and put it into the flower basket.

    "As Muslims we don't eat pork and a lot of people know that so they thought it was highly offensive, which is why they did it.

    "You get angry, but shocked because you don't think it will happen near home.

    "Sherwood is multicultural so the fact it is someone more local you get angry, but you don't want to focus on that and think it is just an isolated attack."

    She said those responsible filmed themselves outside.

    Planning permission has been granted for the House of Fraser store at Highcross in Leicester to be divided up into a number of smaller shops.

    Three of the units have already been earmarked for specific companies, including one that will use some of the space for a crazy golf course.

    "The planning approval marks a major milestone in the enhancement of Highcross," Peter Cooper from the developers Hammerson said.

    "The plans also provide an opportunity to improve the entrance at St Peter’s Square, enhancing its link to the High Street in addition to breathing new life into the surrounding shopping streets."

    The multi-million pound project is expected to be completed towards the end of 2018.
