This picture of a windmill is believed to have been hand carved by Sir Isaac Newton on the wall of his childhood home.

It was discovered at Woolsthorpe Manor, near Grantham, by researchers from Nottingham Trent University.
The famous scientist was born at the house in 1642 and later returned to live there during the 1660s and it's claimed he observed the falling apple that led to his theory of gravity in the garden.

Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI) technology was used to reveal the image, which was next to a fireplace.
Chris Pickup from the team said he hoped other drawings would be discovered.
