A failed bid to takeover shopping centre owner Intu "will not affect" proposals to redevelop Nottingham's ailing Broadmarsh Centre.
Shares in the firm have plunged after the collapse of the £2.8bn takeover bid, which included Saudi Arabian firm Olayan and Canada's Brookfield Property.
However, an Intu spokeswoman said the failure would not affect the proposed £250m redevelopment of the Nottingham shopping centre.
