The form tutor of a 13-year-old girl who was found hanged has told an inquest she was sometimes reluctant to go home.

Amber Peat was found dead in May 2015, three days after walking out of her Mansfield home following an argument over household chores.

The court heard that at school, Amber was attention-seeking but appeared intimidated by her step-father over homework.

  18. Foxes top club for giving youth a chancepublished at 17:01 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2019

    Gavin Bevis
    BBC News

Leicester City have given more of a chance to young players this season than any other Premier League club, a BBC Sport study has found.

Claude Puel may be the bookmakers' favourite to be the next top flight manager to lose his job but he has given 8,373 minutes to eight Foxes players aged 22 or under this season, nearly double that of the next highest - Arsenal, with 4,467 minutes.

    Youth minutes table

In contrast to the youthful looking line-up at the King Power Stadium this season, Cardiff City prop up the table having failed to give a single minute to a player aged 22 and under so far.

This is where where city-based gangs exploit people, including children, to sell drugs in smaller towns. This week forces across the East Midlands tried to "disrupt" these.
