Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service says crews have finished tackling a blaze involving 40,000 tonnes of rubbish and tyres in Maltkiln Lane, Newark, external.
The blaze had prompted a warning for local people to keep their windows closed.

The father of Derby County fan Charlie Harrison, has called Nottingham Forest a "class act" after his son was invited to last night's East Midlands derby.
Shaun Harrison said: "Charlie had a great night even if he was a little tired this morning.
"Everyone we know is so happy for him and I just want to say thank you to Forest for being such class acts.
"Something good's come from a bad situation."
Charlie, 23, who has a severe form of epilepsy, was filmed being abused for wearing his team's shirt in Nottingham, led the teams out in front of almost 29,000 people ahead of the game.
He was invited to the City Ground by Forest after the club became aware of the video.

Global media has announced it will be creating three UK-wide national breakfast shows on Capital, Heart and Smooth radio, replacing programmes in the East Midlands.
It means a reduction in locally-produced programmes, with more than 100 jobs at risk due to the changes.
Ofcom has approved the move following a change in guidelines, external for local radio.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service has issued a statement on a car hitting Tesco in Carlton.
It said: "Firefighters from Carlton and Arnold as well as the Specialist Rescue Unit from Highfields were called to a road traffic collision at a superstore on Carlton hill this afternoon, shortly before midday.
"One car had collided with the store front, and crews released one female from the car who was left in the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service."

A woman appeared in court today charged with an arson attack on Nottingham railway station in January last year.
Gemma Peat, 34, of Wilford Crescent East in Nottingham, is charged with arson with intent or being reckless to endanger life and appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.
The magistrates sent her case to Nottingham Crown Court where there will be a preliminary hearing on 26 March. She did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody.
Ten fire crews were needed to bring the fire under control after it broke out at 06:30 on 12 January 2018 and the disruption lasted long after the fire was put out.
The prosecution estimates that the total cost of the damage is about £5.5m.

The University of Bristol has said every effort was made to assist and support a student who took her own life.
Natasha Abrahart from West Bridgford died in April last year. Her parents now face a "horrendous" bill for the inquest because they cannot get legal aid funding.
