A heart scanner that can detect undiagnosed congenital heart defects in premature and newborn babies has been donated to the Royal Derby Hospital.
The charity, Friends of the Baby Unit, raised £73,000 for the machine. Staff say it will help them to improve the survival rate of babies born with heart defects.

The A608 outside Derby has been shut by police in both directions this morning.
They are advising people to avoid the area. It is between Derby College Equestrian Centre and Church Lane in the village of Morley.
