On South Today this evening: Homeless support groups in Oxford say that with the number of rough sleepers in the city at its highest recorded level - and huge cuts to their budgets - they are facing "a perfect storm".
Charities have spent the day collecting money and raising support for the issue.
It comes as one support centre for the homeless has announced it will have to close next year because of a lack of funding.

Huntercombe Hall Care Home in Henley, which provides adult social care, has been rated as requiring improvement, external.
An unannounced inspection by the Care Quality Commission found the home failing to meet standards for safety, effectiveness, responsiveness and leadership.
It was assessed as good for being a caring service.
Thame market is in the running for a national prize, external after being nominated for the Small Market of the Year award.

Preparations are underway in Abingdon for a Christmas meal for people who would otherwise be alone.
It's the second year Peachcroft Christian Centre has put on the festive lunch on Christmas Day.

An evening of festive music raised hundreds of pounds, external for charities and good causes in Banbury.
The design for a proposed glass 'Lantern' artwork to be sited on the Bonn Square entrance of the new Westgate shopping centre has been revealed.
The Lantern was conceived by Swiss artist Daniela Schönbächler and features 78 glass panels, varying in colour and translucence, and was inspired by a window at All Souls College.
The gym at Wantage Leisure Centre has received a £127,000 upgrade, including new treadmills, bikes and crossover machines.

For a group of teenagers in Oxfordshire, it was a school trip many of whom could only dream.
Back in October, pupils from Wallingford School had the chance to travel to Kenya to help orphans growing up in poverty.

Heavy fighting is continuing in the town of Sangin in southern Afghanistan, where Afghan soldiers trying to counter a major attack by the Taliban are to be joined by British military personnel in an advisory role.

A landlord renting out four unlicensed houses in multiple occupation in Oxford has been fined £15,000 and ordered to pay costs of £2,692, external.
Andrew Coyle of Daisy Bank Road in Cheltenham owned one property each in Meyseys Close and Troy Close, and another two in Elton Close.
During their inspection visit, council officers found between four and five unrelated professional tenants living in each house.
At Meyseys Close and one of the Elton Close properties, fire protection measures were inadequate as there were missing fire doors.

The first families from Syria have arrived and are settling in Oxfordshire as part of the national refugee resettlement programme.
The families have been supported by Asylum Welcome which helps them with language and culture lessons, and practical steps such as registering for a doctor and opening bank accounts.
