    A cosmetics company has given £20,000 to charities after money raised for a homeless woman who claimed to have foiled a burglary was returned.

    Lush donated the money to homeless charities in Oxford due to "current uncertainty" over the burglary.

    Lottie Pauling-Chamberlain said she challenged a thief on 10 February outside Lush in Oxford, but a £9,000-fund from public donations was suspended after Thames Valley Police arrested the 29-year-old.

    HMP Huntercombe, external, a Category C adult male prison holding foreign nationals, is included in the list of prisons that drones were discovered near.

    It was recorded as a "miscellaneous" incident, meaning there was a reported sighting in or around the site. 

    The MoJ, external said it did not know if the craft was being used for illegal purposes.

    During a debate about the European Union yesterday, David Cameron said he would not be standing for re-election.

    His comments have been clarified by his press officer today - he was referring to the role of prime minister, and not as a local MP.

    He has been Conservative MP for Witney since the 2001 general election.

    Eric Morecambe's chauffeur, Mike Fountain, has been sharing anecdotes with BBC Radio Oxford's Howard Bentham about the late comedy legend.

    Mike Fountain looks back on the time he chauffeured the British comedy legend.

    They include the time Morecambe had a heart attack at the wheel of his Jensen Interceptor and stopped to ask a tank driver to give him a lift to the hospital.

    The car was recently restored by Oxfordshire specialists Cropredy Bridge.

    It's local man Jez Allinson training for his second London Marathon - which he'll run in full fancy dress.

    He said the reason for the outfit was because "deep down" he was "one of the world's biggest geeks".

    Concrete mixer lorries delivering to the site of a new shopping centre in Oxford have been given permission to take a shortcut through a village.

    Oxfordshire County Council, external made the decision on Monday to allow the vehicles to use the B4449 through Sutton.

    Roadwork delays of up to 40 minutes have caused about £22,500 of concrete to be wasted, contractor Hanson said.

    The route will now be used by up to 10 loaded mixing trucks daily.

    More than £3m of fines were issued by Thames Valley Police, external to people breaking speed limits in our region in 2015.

    In the past three years more than 500,000 people were caught speeding by the force.   

    Sgt Chris Appleby told Radio Oxford's Howard Bentham: "There are speed limits there for a reason. Do we get any money from it? Yes. But that pays for the enforcement we do to stop the problem occurring."

    The delays on the A34 northbound between The Beedon turn off and East Ilsley have increased to about 45 minutes. 

    Traffic is queuing back to junction 13 at Chieveley following the traffic accident there.
