    Colin Cole, from Gobowen near Oswestry, must be one of the oldest poppy sellers in the country. 

    He's 96 and served in the RAF during World War Two.

    Colin's been selling poppies in Oswestry for the past 20 years and he'll be at the Memorial Gates, at Cae Glas Park today - to mark Armistice Day.

  2. Search for man feared drowned in River Severnpublished at 09:03

    A man's thought to have drowned in the River Severn, external in Shrewsbury. 

    It's understood he was trying to swim across the river, near the old prison, when he got into difficulties and disappeared from view.

    Police were last night trying to contact his next of kin. It's believed he was in his 20s. A search is expected to continue today.
