New figures show the number of people giving blood in Shropshire is slightly below the national average.
The county has just over 8,000 active blood donors. That's 2.7% of eligible people aged between 17 and 70.
The national average is 3%.
NHS blood and transplant services say they need more donors in the county, especially younger ones.
