It's been the warmest day of the year so far and it is going to stay sunny and warm into the evening, with temperatures staying at 14C (57F) until 20:00 tonight.
The running costs of a new swimming pool for Shrewsbury mean it could still be built outside the town centre, external, the leader of Shropshire Council said today.

Back in January, British astronaut Tim Peake sent a message from the International Space Station, asking school children to help him in one of his scientific experiments.
He wanted them to plant rocket seeds that have been in orbit with him. It was all to see if being weightless had any affect on the the way plants grow.
And this afternoon pupils at West Felton Primary have been sowing them, to see if they turn out looking different to ordinary rocket seeds.

It's all happening for AFC Telford United's goalkeeper James Montgomery at the moment.
Last night he saved a penalty to earn his side a draw away at Brackley and today he was celebrating his 22nd birthday.
He even brought in cake for the staff working at the club.
A new assistant chief constable has been appointed for the West Mercia Police and Warwickshire Police forces.
Chief Superintendent Amanda Blakeman has been carrying out the role on a temporary basis since 2014.
She began her career with the West Mercia force in 1992.

Shropshire have named their 12-man squad, external for their first one-day game of the season at home to Herefordshire this Sunday.
It includes two former captains, Richie Oliver and Anthony Parker, two new professionals David Wainwright and Alex Wyatt, and the Shrewsbury youngster Ollie Westbury.
They will be led by Shifnal's Steve Leach (pictured above).

A pathologist has cast doubt over claims that Private Cheryl James killed herself at Deepcut Barracks.
The 18-year-old Army recruit, whose family live near Oswestry, was found with a fatal head wound in 1995, and ballistics experts have told her inquest that "soot deposits" could be seen on her face and thumb that are "indicative" of a close or hard contact gunshot wound.
But Professor Derrick Pounder, brought in by Pte James's family to provide an exhumation post-mortem examination on the soldier last year, said dark marks that had been taken for soot were actually either dirt or bruising.

AFC Telford United have got 10 pairs described as "match worn" available and have also put training tops and sweatshirts up for sale, external.
We're not sure whether they've been washed.
Traders in seven Telford town centres will be getting tips from business advisors, with Oakengates the first to benefit.
The free courses start on 5 May and the advisors will also visit Donnington, Hadley, Ironbridge, Wellington, Madeley and Newport.
The training has been funded through Telford and Wrekin Council's Pride in Your High Street, external scheme and there will be a meeting next Monday at the Oakengates United Church, to explain what's involved.

Comedian Victoria Wood has died aged 62 after a short battle with cancer, her publicist has said.
She found fame in the 1980s with her TV series Victoria Wood As Seen On TV.
The actress, singer and songwriter was awarded an CBE in 2008.

The biggest number of child deaths occur in the West Midlands, new figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) reveal.
This goes against the national trend, which has seen the number of babies dying before their first birthday in England and Wales fall to its lowest ever rate.
One of the SAS team who took part in the hostage rescue operation at Mogadishu Airport in 1977 has died.
Barry Davies, who was born in Shrewsbury and served in the Hereford-based regiment for 18 years, was awarded the British Empire Medal for the storming of Lufthansa Flight 181.
There's been a delay in the arrival of the first Syrian refugees in Shropshire.
Three families were expected to be rehoused in Oswestry this month, but the Oswestry Welcomes Syrian Refugees group has been told they will now arrive in the summer.
The reason for the delay hasn't been made clear, but the organisation arranging things, Refugee Action, external has now appointed three staff to handle the resettlement in the county.

Shrewsbury were left to regret a missed penalty, but a saved penalty for Telford keeps alive their hopes of staying up.
When you look at the table they're in a very similar situation, with two points separating them from the relegation zone, but with two games of the season remaining, they know a win on Saturday could be enough to keep them up.
Importantly, the 0-0 draw meant Brackley failed to climb above Telford and The Bucks' fate remains in their own hands.
