Shropshire's hospitals have issued a warning about a batch of hearing aid batteries that they've been told could explode.
Image source, ThinkstockThe Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Trust is one of the bodies to get a batch of the ZeniPower batteries, which have a use-by date of August or September 2018.
The risk is said to be low, but if you have one, you're asked to return it to your provider.

The former police superintendent Bill Longmore (pictured below) narrowly topped the poll in West Mercia last time, but he is not standing again.
His deputy Barrie Sheldon, external is hoping to keep an Independent flag flying, but it will be a hotly contested affair because all the main parties are fielding candidates.

The BBC has been talking to police forces around the country and asking how many reports of "revenge porn" they have investigated since it became an offence to share private sexual photographs or films without the subject's consent.
In all there were 1,160 incidents reported between April 2015 and December 2015.
Image source, PAOnly 11% of reported offences resulted in the alleged perpetrator being charged, 7% ended with a caution and 5% in a community resolution.
Student recognised in Telford's 'walk of fame'published at 15:15 British Summer Time 27 April 2016

Journalist, BBC ShropshireA 16-year-old student is getting his name added to Telford's "walk of fame" today for his inspiring battle with bone and blood marrow cancer.
Connor Holbrook (centre, below) from Woodside was nominated for impressing teachers at Lakeside Academy and TCAT with his hard work while receiving treatment for his condition.
The Telford "walk of fame" is an avenue of trees in the town park which displays the names of award-winning young people.
Connor, who dreams of becoming a teacher one day, will also get one of Telford and Wrekin Council's Telford Tommy medals, which are given to young people who do something special.

This week's strikes are the first time doctors have stopped providing emergency care in the history of the NHS.
The dispute is over a new contract that the government announced in February would be imposed from the summer. This followed the breakdown of talks between the two sides in January.
Image source, AFPHealth Secretary Jeremy Hunt described the walkout as a "very, very bleak day", but said the government would not back down, saying no union had the right to stop a government trying to act on a manifesto promise - to introduce a truly seven-day NHS.
The British Medical Association has argued it is unfair and the NHS needs extra investment to pay for seven-day services.

A Shropshire baby who didn't get enough oxygen during labour could see its future development suffer, according to a report going before hospital bosses tomorrow.
The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Trust says it is facing a legal claim because the problem wasn't spotted at an early stage.
And the report says that systems which are designed to ensure this doesn't happen were not implemented in this case.
