Football Heaven returns to the airwaves tomorrow as we cover Sheffield United on FM and Barnsley on AM and DAB.

But it doesn't stop there - Sheffield Wednesday play Aston Villa on Sunday, and the regions' number one for football will be bringing you commentary from Hillsborough from 16:00.

The winger has signed for Sheffield Wednesday on a season long loan from Sunderland today.

Buckley has played 37 league games in two seasons.

A mum from Barnsley is in the spotlight for her determination and inspiration in campaigning for child safety following the murders of her two children.

Claire Throssell, from Penistone, has dedicated her life to calling on the Government and courts to protect children after their parents have separated.

Her two sons, 12-year-old Jack and nine-year-old Paul, died when their father Darren Sykes deliberately set fire to their family home.

Claire has set up her own organisation, Heads Together, in memory of her sons. It helps families who are dealing with the terminal illness or death of a child.

She's been named as a finalist in Red magazine's Women of the Year Difference Maker Awards., external

Police are investigating a complaint following the policing of Sheffield Pride last week.

Sheffield Hallam Students' Union have written a letter of complaint about how they policed the event at Endcliffe Park.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner Dr Alan Billings said the policing of the event was a matter for South Yorkshire Police but that he would listen to concerns from the community.

Doncaster soldier Ben Parkinson is off on another adventure - to raise money for other wounded soldiers.

Lance Bombardier Parkinson was seriously injured in a Taliban bomb blast in 2006 in Afghanistan.

He had both legs amputated.

For two weeks, teams from Pilgrim Bandits Charity will travel across a section of the Arctic, alongside icebergs and glacier fronts.

The JORVIK Viking Centre in York has loaned their exhibition 'Heroes' to Experience Barnsley.

It tells the stories of 'celebrities' of the Viking world, including Eric Bloodaxe, the last Viking King of York, King Cnut the Great, and Harold Hardrada - the Thunderbolt of the North.

Activities include storytelling, making Viking helmets and body armour and building a longboat.

So as the Olympics kick off today, a local attraction is getting in on the sporting theme.

The annual maize maze, in Cawthorne, opened last month and will stay open until early September.
