    Staff at three council nurseries in Crewe aren't paid enough, external, according to Cheshire East Council.

    The authority says the company that runs them, Safehands Limited, external, has been making big profits by cutting staff costs so it wants a not-for-profit organisation to take over. 

    But Ofsted says the care at The Brooks, external, Oak Tree, external and Monks Coppenhall, external nurseries are all "good" and the company insists its staff are paid well.

    Former Stoke City manager Lou Macari says he thinks they're a different side when Ryan Shawcross is not in the team.

    The Potters captain has played just once in over two months because of a reoccurring back problem. 

    Macari told BBC Radio Stoke that Stoke have had a great season, but Shawcross has been a big miss.

    More disruption is expected at hospitals across Staffordshire and Cheshire as junior doctors take part in their latest 48-hour strike

    It's their fourth walkout over the imposition of a new contract by the government. 

    A number of operations and hospital appointments are likely to be cancelled although emergency care is being provided.

    Ministers have described the action as irresponsible. NHS England said the continued disruption was "deeply regrettable".
