    A Stoke-on-Trent GP is backing an NHS review into some drugs and supplements being available on prescription.

    NHS England is working on new guidelines in an attempt to save money, with gluten free food, Omega 3 and some painkillers possibly being affected.

    Staffordshire Police has been patrolling near a Stoke-on-Trent primary school this afternoon following earlier reports of a person with an offensive weapon.

    It's said to have taken place in an area near Packmoor's Ormiston Academy.

    After months of work over the winter, the Lyneal Trust charity has been able to launch its new canal boat.

    The owners of the Tollgate Hotel, in Trentham, say they're having to pay out hundreds of pounds to replace them.

    Well, East Staffordshire Borough Council has won Best Loo of the Year thanks to how sparklingly clean they are kept.

    Organisers behind the scheme have promoted the authority to its toilet Premier League, ranking it 16th alongside City of London and West Oxfordshire District Council.

    Drivers in the Staffordshire Moorlands are unhappy about fines at a supermarket car park.

    Aldi, in Leek, offers two hours' free parking once drivers register their numberplates, but people are still receiving fines regardless of whether they visit the store or not. 

    Sylvia Mellor says she is too scared to shop there because of it.

    ParkingEye, the company running the car park, says it encourages people to appeal.
