More snowfall at the weekend has the potential to cause further disruption in parts of the West Midlands, the Met Office is warning.
New yellow warnings for snow and ice have been issued for parts of Staffordshire and Shropshire from 15:00 GMT Saturday until 06:00 Sunday.

People across the West Midlands have been waking up to snow today but an expert says it's likely to vanish by Friday afternoon.
Steve Jackson founded the Bablake Weather Centre in Coventry.
"It's been snowing pretty well constantly for about 23 hours, although it didn't settle that much until yesterday. This is our best snow event in five years in Coventry in March," he said.
The last time there was this much snow in March in Coventry was the 2018 Beast from the East, Mr Jackson said.
"This isn't unprecedented, but after a couple of barren years of snow in the winter it's very welcome to snow lovers."
He says the snow is likely to turn to slush by the end of the day and forecast rain means it's likely to be all gone by Friday afternoon.
A group of volunteer drivers have sprung into action to help get NHS staff to work in their 4x4 vehicles.
Graeme Wright founded the group in Warwickshire five years ago which now has 150 volunteers.
He works with South Warwickshire NHS Trust to pair workers at risk of being unable to get to work or home again with drivers.
"We picked a nurse up this morning from about two miles down a country road, so she couldn't have got out unless we got her out," Mr Wright said.
He said volunteers had to bring a consultant to the hospital from his home in Dudley on Wednesday night and on Thursday morning organised lifts for about six workers.
"We like to think that we're making a difference," said Mr Wright.

The main problem on the roads here in Telford is vehicles getting stuck going uphill.
Some are waiting in queues, then when the lights change they're wheel-spinning as they try and get away.
I've come across these issues on Fourth and Fifth Avenue in Ketley, and some of the exits off the Eastern Primary.
We've been hearing that more schools are shutting at lunchtime, with parents asked to collect their children as soon as possible.
At least 250 schools are already closed across the region, although the true figure could be considerably higher.
In Shropshire, there are already about 70 closures, with about 50 each in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Sandwell.

One Staffordshire farmer has described how he is coping with looking after newborns at work and at home.
Richard Bower from Lower Drayton Farm, Penkridge, said today's snow had come as a bit of a surprise, but he had managed to get his expectant ewes inside the lambing shed.
"We've barricaded the shed with bales and whatever just to expect the worst," he said.
"It's a little bit more work to ensure everything gets fed, and bedded and comfortable, but the welfare of the animals is our number one priority."
A new addition to Richard's own family has also been depriving him of sleep.
"We've got a new young-born baby at home as well so he doesn't really sleep through the night," he said.
While his sheep are often giving birth through the night, CCTV cameras in the lambing shed means he can keep a close eye on them from his phone.

It added that workers had also refilled all the grit bins in the borough over the past two weeks in preparation.

At least five schools are known to have closed for the day in Dudley - they include Brockmoor Primary, St Mary's Primary Kingswinford, Netherton CE Primary, Red Hall Primary School and Lower Gornal Cotwall End Primary.

There was upwards of 10cm (4in) of snow in the town overnight, with more settling as it continued to fall this morning.
A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office, covering large areas of the West Midlands including Solihull.
