    About 55,000 ducks have been culled after a bird flu outbreak at a farm on the Norfolk/Suffolk border.

    The H5N8 virus was detected at Grange Farm in Redgrave, near Diss, which is run by Gressingham Foods. 

    Defra, external said no birds were infected, but they were culled over the weekend as a precaution.

    Stormzy's pal and new-found collaborator Ed Sheeran, external reigned supreme at the top of the singles charts for an eighth week in a row with Shape of You.

    Elsewhere, Something Just Like This, the Coldplay collab with The Chainsmokers went straight in at number two.

    Saturday's match of the day in the Ryman Premier Division came at Tonbridge, where Needham Market, external came from 3-1 down to win 4-3, and move up to third place in the table.

    Leiston's, external miserable run continued as they suffered a fifth straight defeat, losing 2-1 at Hendon.

    Lowestoft Town, external and AFC Sudbury, external both enjoyed 3-1 wins against Burgess Hill and Folkestone respectively. 

    In the Ryman North Division, Bury Town, external lost 3-0 at Haringey Borough.

    Bury St Edmunds, external secured a much-needed 33-28 win at home to Exmouth on Saturday.

    It was the Wolf Pack's first victory in seven matches and only their second since November.

    The result leaves them 11th in National League Two South, external , ahead of this weekend's trip to fellow strugglers Barnes.

    Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy was as honest as ever with his post-match assessment of Saturday's 1-1 draw against Brentford at Portman Road.

    "Not good," McCarthy told me. 

    "We haven't played well today, we weren't particularly good with the ball.

    "That's probably the worst we've been for the last six games which is a shame that's happened when we're at home, our fans would like to see us play better. 

    "If there's one positive to come out of it, it's that we didn't lose."

    Two men arrested on suspicion of rape continue to be questioned by police.

    A woman, in her 20s, was attacked and left unconscious near Rope Walk in Ipswich on 25 February.

    Suffolk Police arrested two men on Saturday night .

    They are still in custody.

    Suffolk darts player Peter Wright is the 2017 UK Open champion.

    The 46-year-old from Mendham, who's been runner-up the last two years, beat Welshman Gerwyn Price 11-6 in yesterday's final in Minehead.

    "Obviously I feel great to win my first one," said Wright. 

    "I don't want to put a downer on it, but we had no Michael (van Gerwen) or Phil (Taylor) here, but I still had the pressure of being favourite."
