    A man remains unaccounted for following a fire which destroyed a cottage in East Bergholt yesterday.

    Crews called to the blaze in Gaston Street at 01:00 couldn't prevent the roof collapsing.

    Firefighters searched the wreckage, but it's not known if the man was in the house at the time.
