  2. Happy ending to tale of lost wedding ringpublished at 12:08 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2017

You may have seen our earlier story on the man who's been re-united with his wedding ring after it was found in a sofa in south Norfolk.

Andy Freeman stretching out his left arm, with hand clasped and wearing wedding ring

Andy and Steph Freeman, who live near Norwich, had given away the sofa for free on Facebook.

A week before it went, Andy had noticed the ring was missing from his finger when he went to have a shower - and "got into trouble" from Steph.

Four months later, the sofa's owner owner Cloey Jordan found it when she went to retrieve her baby son's dummy.

Cloey, who lives near Harleston, posted details online in a bid to find the ring's rightful owners.

After imposters tried to claim it, the ring is now back with with Freemans.

    Quote Message

I felt bad for this woman because she was saying 'it's me, it's me'... I asked if she had a photo of the sofa, it took her about an hour to find it, but she knew exactly how it'd been picked up so I knew it was her."

  4. So what about children's season ticket prices at Town?published at 11:08 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2017

Ipswich Town's managing director has explained how they reached the pricing decision to increase the £10 children's season ticket to £50, criticised as a 400% rise by some.

Previously the club had a £10 season ticket for under-11s.

    Ian Milne at Ipswich Town

But Ian Milne said the position had been abused, and some people had bought £10 season tickets as an opportunity to get extra space to put their bags or coats, or upgraded them. Very few were being taken up by a child.

He said: "The under-12s will pay £50 per season - that's about £2.17 per match.

"However each time they come, they will get so many loyalty points and if they come for all 23 matches they will get £46 worth of loyalty vouchers or they can use that as a credit to the following season, so in effect it will only cost you £4 per season."

  5. 'It's a tough decision' - will fans renew Ipswich Town season tickets? published at 10:23 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2017

While Jacqueline Taylor said she will definitely be buying one: "All clubs have lows, but if I desert MY TEAM now, I will be no better than the thousands who purport to support the Big Clubs just so they can sat how great their team is."

  6. Town chief speaks of 'reality' of season ticket risepublished at 10:00 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2017

Town's managing director Ian Milne has told the BBC he accepts the new price structure is something of a gamble and that it could lead to some supporters staying away, given the club's current position in the Championship.

He was speaking after the club announced a price rise of an adult season ticket by 1.5% for next season.

    Ipswich Town football gournd

He said: "The reality is that we are all aware that if we don't provide entertaining football on the field that we are likely to lose support, and that may hit future season ticket sales.

"Maybe the small increase may also have an effect, but that is also why, as part of the package... if we sell 12,750 season tickets that would trigger a 5% refund to all season ticket holders."

    Brenner Woolley
    BBC Radio Suffolk sport

Ipswich Town's, external , external managing director Ian Milne has explained why the club's increased the price of an adult season ticket by 1.5% for the 2017/18 campaign.

    Ian Milne

The qualification age for concessionary tickets has also been increased from 60 to 65.

"There has to be careful management of the club's annual budget and where that budget is to be spent," Mr Milne told BBC Suffolk Sport.

"[We consider] how the club is to raise revenue to meet its investment priorities of focusing on the academy, having a competitive wage structure and careful use of our transfer budget on developing players."

    BBC Radio Suffolk sport

Ipswich Town have confirmed their season ticket prices for next year - adults will be charged an extra 1.5%.

There's going to be a bigger percentage increase if you're aged between 61 and 64, with concessions now starting at 65 rather than 60.

The club hopes to counter a drop-off in support from the younger generation by offering various discounts.

However, whereas this season under-11s could buy a season ticket for just £10, that's going up to £50, but under-12s can buy one as well.

While it's not confirmed we understand there'll be no increase on adult matchday tickets.

We're almost at the end of our time at Ipswich Hospital, and things here have been pretty busy for the last few hours, I'm told.

Since 20:00, 45 patients have walked through the door. There are still 39 patients in the department, with a wait time of about three and a half hours because of the recent influx of people.

  18. 'We would never compromise patient care'published at 23:33 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2017

    Jodie Halford
    BBC News

Sally Knight has been working as an advanced clinical practitioner at Ipswich Hospital's emergency department for the last three years.

Her "innovative" role - created as the result of a trial in the Midlands a few years ago - sees her treat adults and children, major cases and minors, across all areas of the department. "Anything and everything," she says.

    Sally Knight

Sally says it has been a less busy night than they'd usually expect in majors, but was really busy in paediatrics.

"We do think about the four-hour standard," she said. "If we don't strive for that then there are patients who will have discomfort, physically or mentally, because they are waiting.

"But it's about finding a balance. We would never compromise patient care to meet the standard."

  19. Blue butterfly system explainedpublished at 23:12 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2017

    Jodie Halford
    BBC News

Earlier on today, pictures of blue butterflies were placed in locations around the emergency department's "majors" section.

The hospital uses them as a system to let paramedics, nurses, doctors and other visitors to the area know there's recently been a death in the department.

    Blue butterfly

"We had the butterflies in place earlier when one of our patients in the department died," said Adam Ransome, assistant lead nurse.

"It's really used for us just to say, 'this has happened, be respectful' to those coming into the department who will be unaware of what's happened and that people will be grieving.

"We keep them in place until the patient has been moved on to the mortuary."

  20. Forget 10,000 steps a day. Try 24,000 in seven hours.published at 22:58 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2017

    Jodie Halford
    BBC News

In our time at Ipswich Hospital, the team and I have managed to walk quite a long way as we've circled the emergency department chatting to people.

But our exercise efforts have got nothing on Jackson Underwood, who works as a technician and a porter.

    Phone

    "Since 15:00, I've walked 10.45 miles (16.8km) - that's 24,000 steps," he told me

"When I work as a porter elsewhere in the hospital, I have to wear steel toe capped boots. But you could never wear steelies in this job - even in normal shoes, it's difficult on your feet."

    Jackson Underwood

Jackson also gave us his A&E in a word - we're going to forgive him for actually using two words because he's probably tired from all that walking.
