We've just spoken to Corrie Mckeague's father Martin, who blocked the entrance to the landfill site at Milton, near Cambridge, with his motor home for a short while earlier this afternoon.
He told us from outside police HQ at Martlesham that he wanted Suffolk Police to resume their search of the site for his son.
The protest has been reported in the Cambridge Evening News, external, and the East Anglian Daily Times, external.
An appeal has been launched, external by the charity Help Musicians, to fund a 24/7 specialist mental health service for musicians.
The launch of Music Minds Matter follows the death of Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, who took his own life last week.
The charity is led by Richard Robinson, who lives near Sudbury.
He says they've seen a big increase in people in the industry who need help: "Since December we've seen a 25% increase in calls from people suffering from all kinds of issues, but mental health being the primary.
"I think it's time the music industry and ourselves linked arms and found that solution."
A man has pleaded not guilty to being the driver involved in a fatal hit and run accident at Hitcham, near Hadleigh.
It's alleged 51-year-old Mark Tuffs, of Alibon Road, Dagenham, was driving a lorry at the time and failed to report an accident had happened.
Mr Tuffs is also accused of causing death by careless driving and failing to stop after a road accident.
Cyclist Colin Taylor died following the crash at Luckeys Corner on the B1115 in November last year.
Mr Tuffs will appear at Ipswich Crown Court on 21 August.
One of the county's rarest breeding birds, the sandwich tern, may be making a comeback after breeding successfully this year at the RSPB’s Minsmere nature reserve, external for the first time in almost 40 years.
The sandwich tern is a very white ‘sea tern’ with a black cap and bill with a yellow tip, which distinguish it from other terns.
Before the 1970s, a large colony of them nested on Minsmere’s Scrape – a shallow man-made lagoon dotted with islands – but since the last successful nesting attempt in 1978 they have only tried to nest occasionally and without success, until now.
This year, seven pairs of sandwich terns settled to breed on the East Scrape, successfully rearing four chicks so far.
They are thought to be the only sandwich terns to breed in Suffolk this year, the RSPB said.
A man in his 50's has been rescued from a rowing boat off the coast at Felixstowe this afternoon.
A volunteer crew from the Harwich Inshore Lifeboat, external were called to the incident at about 15:15.
They brought the man and his six foot (1.8m) wooden boat to land about 30 minutes later.
High winds meant he'd drifted about half-a-mile out to sea near the Spa Pavilion.
A coastguard rescue team and paramedics attended to him after he was brought to safety.
The girlfriend of missing airman Corrie Mckeague has posted a new photograph of the couple's daughter on Facebook.
Ellie was born to mum April Oliver last month.
On Friday, police revealed they were halting the search for Corrie at a landfill site at Milton, near Cambridge.
The gunner from RAF Honington disappeared after a night out in Bury St Edmunds last September.
RAF Lakenheath has responded to a report revealing a "near miss" off the Norfolk coast involving two F-15 jets from the Suffolk base at the beginning of the year.
First Lieutenant Elias Small, chief of public affairs for 48th Fighter Wing at RAF Lakenheath, said: "The 48th Fighter Wing cooperated fully with this investigation and understands the importance of operating safely and within UK airspace regulations.
"As recommended by the UK Airprox Board, we have taken several steps to help reduce the risk of similar events in the future.
"First, we reviewed how we distribute information to our aircrews to ensure they are aware of all planned airspace activity.
"Second, we have reviewed our standard flight plans to ensure they are in line with airspace boundaries and reporting points.
"Finally, we are exploring a program for new airmen assigned to RAF Lakenheath to visit RAF Swanwick to help provide additional awareness of local airspace limitations and concerns.
"Our pilots and aircrew work to sharpen their skills every day, and we will continue to emphasize flight safety as part of our training programs."

For the first time in Ipswich Town's history, the club will carry the name of a charity on the back of its first-team shirts.
The name of East Anglia's Children's Hospices, external (EACH) will appear on both home and away shirts for the 2017-18 season.
Ipswich Town's managing director Ian Milne said: "It's something new for us and it’s an exciting concept which has been well received by the club’s supporters."
He added: "It was a difficult decision on who to select because there is so much great work being done in the community by a number of organisations.
"It’s our intention, if possible, to continue the shirt partnership with different charities over coming seasons."

East Anglia's Children's Hospices, external say they're "thrilled" to be chosen as the first charity to be supported by Ipswich Town, who'll be carrying their name on the back of first team and ladies' team shirts for the 2017-18 season.
Graham Butland, the charity's chief executive, said: "We’re thrilled to be benefiting from this unique opportunity.
"This exciting partnership will undoubtedly be a boost to everyone involved with EACH and we look forward to working with Ipswich Town over the year."
A former carer from Felixstowe has admitted stealing nearly £3,000-worth of jewellery from two clients.
Susan Ogden, from Cambridge Road in the town, denies four charges of stealing jewellery from four other women worth nearly £8,500.
She also pleaded not guilty to two charges of stealing prescription medicines.
The alleged offences took place between September 2015 and April of this year.
Magistrates in Ipswich released the 58-year-old on bail.
She'll appear at Ipswich Crown Court on 21 August.

The family of a man from Sheffield who died after being hit by a car on the A14 earlier this month, has paid tribute to him.
Alexander Beck, 27, died at the scene of the incident between junctions 43 and 42 at Bury St Edmunds, in the early hours of Friday, 14 July.
His family said: "We are devastated at the sudden death of our beloved son and brother, Alex.
"He was a son and brother to be proud of and we will miss him dearly."
We've been bringing you news of two jets from Lakenheath which were involved in a "near miss" with an RAF refuelling plane off the coast of Norfolk in January.

A report into the incident, external found that the two main causes were that the controller didn't effectively prevent the F15s from entering the airspace around the RAF Voyager plane, and the F15s entered the Air to Air Refuelling Area unaware that it was active.
A man who died following a crash involving two cars on the A11 at the Worling junction near Barton Mills on Saturday has yet to be named by police.
The 80-year-old, who was driving a gold Volkswagen Golf, died at the scene.
Two occupants of the other vehicle, a white Suzuki Swift, were taken to hospital with injuries which were not believed to be serious.
Police are keen to hear from any witnesses to the crash.
A man will appear at Ipswich Crown Court next month charged with the murder of a 57-year-old from Bury St Edmunds.
Mourad Belarbi, 43, from Lake Avenue in Bury St Edmunds, appeared before magistrates in Ipswich this morning.
He's accused of killing 57-year-old Geoffrey Caton, who was found stabbed at an address in nearby Cumberland Avenue, on Thursday evening.
Mr Belarbi was remanded in custody.
