Essex Police said it had identified both parties involved in the incident and passed the details to the Spanish authorities who were leading the investigation.
Airline Ryanair has been criticised for failing to remove the abusive passenger and instead making the woman move.
The budget carrier said it had spoken to Delsie Gayle's family.
The incident took place on a flight from Barcelona to Stansted on Friday and was recorded by fellow passenger David Lawrence who shared it on social media.
Police are seeking witnesses after a cyclist ended up with multiple injuries after a collision with a silver VW Polo on a hill near Ipswich.
It happened on the B1456 at Freston at about 14:00 on Saturday, where the road rises from the banks of the Orwell.
The cyclist, who was riding up the hill, had leg, face and possible head injuries and was taken to Ipswich Hospital.
The gap size of the gap is "concerning", according to the Director of Public Health who compiled the report.

Essex Police said the man suffered injuries to his abdomen after being shot through a glazed section of a door at an address in Warley Street, Great Warley, Brentwood, in the early hours of Monday morning.
Det Ch Insp Martin Pasmore said: "We are still in the process of establishing the circumstances and motives of this incident.
"We understand there will be concerns in the community about this incident. At this stage, we are treating it as a targeted attack and do not believe there is any risk to the wider to public. We are continuing to make our enquiries at the scene."
