    A 74-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the criminal damage of 40 cars in Chichester.

    Officers issued a CCTV appeal after 25 vehicles were damaged at a car lot on High Street, Selsey, on 9 February.

    A further 15 cars were damaged that same night at a second car lot on Easton Lane.

    The man, from Chichester, has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He has been released on conditional bail until 11 March.
