    Passengers at Gatwick have been affected by delays after an IT glitch affected check-in desks.

    The airline said, external passengers were able to check in at Gatwick, external and Heathrow, external airports "although it is taking longer than usual". It advised passengers to check in online.

    Four companies contracted by Coperforma - the non-emergency ambulance service - have told NHS managers they're unable to "operate effectively". 

    This extensive letter outlines ambulance bosses significant concerns with the way Coperforma are running the patient transport service in Sussex.

    It's is the first time we have heard this from the ambulance providers. They say Coperforma has "refused any assistance". 

    The letter says the situation has reached "critical levels now" and that they are "disgusted" at the position Coperforma has put them in.

    They raise a number of serious financial concerns and are threatening "legal proceedings" in ten days time or face an "immediate reduction in the provision of services".
