    There's been months of misery for Southern, external passengers - with not just the strikes but also bus replacement services brought in during temporary timetables.

    These commuters were on the bus replacement service from Seaford to Lewes in East Sussex last week.

    And it's having a big impact on their lives.

  16. Sussex MP secures rail debatepublished at 06:50 British Summer Time 12 September 2016

    Henry Smith, the MP for Crawley in West Sussex, has secured a debate on rail services in the South East tonight.

    He said: "I’m looking forward to continuing to stand up for local passengers who further endure delays, disruption and industrial action at the hands of GTR and the RMT union."

    The debate is expected to start in the House of Commons at about 22:00 BST.
