  1. Donald Trump: Nigel Farage would be great UK ambassadorpublished at 07:08 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2016

President-elect Donald Trump has said UKIP leader Nigel Farage would make a good British ambassador to the US.

But No 10 rejected the suggestion, saying "there is no vacancy". Read the full story here.

Southern rail passengers facing disruption from the latest RMT strike have been told 62% of the normal timetable will be operating.

Union members walked out for 48 hours at midnight in the long-running dispute over the role of conductors on trains.

Southern said it was doing "everything it could to provide as many services for passengers as possible".

The RMT said the number of services Southern hoped to run was "perhaps a bit ambitious".
