Here's a look at why the Southern rail dispute is causing problems for so many people.
Hundreds of head teachers in West Sussex have written to MPs warning that the government's funding shake-up has failed to tackle "extremely bleak" budget shortfalls.
They have written to all their local MPs asking how they should cut spending - whether they should lay off teaching staff, reduce school hours or close counselling services.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is investigating after a pedestrian was killed by a car during a police pursuit in Brighton last night.
An IPCC spokesman said: “We were alerted by Sussex Police to the fatal road traffic incident in Brighton yesterday evening.
"The IPCC deployed investigators straight away and we have since begun an independent investigation into the circumstances of the police pursuit.”

It's day two of the strike by Aslef drivers who are in dispute with Southern rail over its plans to introduce driver only operated trains.
In a dispute that's seen industrial action involving both conductors and drivers, as well as hundreds of cancelled services on non-strike days due to staff sickness, it's all taking it's toll on commuters.
Doctors have even told us people are getting in touch about mental health issues such as stress and anxiety made worse by trouble on the railways.

This was the scene in Brighton a short time ago as officers investigate after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a car that was being chased by police.
The pursuit began in the Bear Road area of Brighton at about 22:00 GMT after a Vauxhall Astra failed to stop for officers, Sussex Police said.
The car was later found abandoned on Madeira Drive near Concorde 2 nightclub.

Southern rail has tweeted the below information for passengers trying to travel by train this morning.
Gatwick is also asking people to leave more time if they're trying to get to the airport today.

A pedestrian has been hit and killed by a car that was being chased by police.
The pursuit began in the Bear Road area of Brighton at about 22:00 GMT after a Vauxhall Astra failed to stop for officers, Sussex Police said.
It drove towards the city centre before hitting the pedestrian on St James's Street. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car was later found abandoned on Madeira Drive near Concorde 2 nightclub.
The force is trying to trace the driver and has appealed for witnesses.
St James's Street remains closed while officers investigate, it added.
