  2. Peaches the parrot accidentally poisons dogs (they're fine by the way) published at 08:39 British Summer Time 30 March 2017

    Three pet dogs have been poisoned by a parrot at their home in the village of Nutley, near Uckfield.

    Peaches mimicked her owner's voice while the family were out, called her canine companions over to her cage one by one and fed them grapes, which are toxic to dogs.

    The dogs - Boris, Cassidy and Gus - were given emergency treatment by their vet and have made a full recovery.

    A shop owner says he may be forced to close his store after three break-ins in the last 10 years. 

    Ben Mitchell says the future of The Stores Department, in Uckfield, is "in the balance" due to increased insurance premiums.
