Smokers in Worthing are being encouraged to turn to football punditry in the fight against litter.
Adur and Worthing councils have installed a so-called "ballot bin" at the taxi rank in Chapel Road.
The first question being asked is whether Brighton and Hove Albion will avoid relegation from the Premier League, with smokers asked to put cigarette ends in one of two slots.
Cllr Diane Guest hopes the bin will encourage smokers "to do the right thing"
Councillor Diane Guest, Worthing's Executive Member for Environment, said cigarette ends were difficult for street sweepers to pick up.
Quote MessageIf anyone has ideas for future questions that could be asked, we would be very pleased to consider them."
