More Brighton Pride tickets have been released today - but the organisation says its website is "struggling to cope".

Britney Spears is bringing her Las Vegas show to the UK, and the singer will headline Pride on Saturday 4 August.

Last month Brighton Pride tweeted: "We are thrilled to announce that legendary pop icon Britney Spears will be the headline act for Pride on Sat 4th Aug".

Today the second phase of tickets were released at 08:00 GMT.

Many people have taken to Twitter to complain that they cannot get through to the website.

Two people have been seriously injured when two cars crashed on the Sussex-Hampshire border.

A Honda CRV and a Ford Ranger pickup truck were travelling in opposite directions on the B2070 Old Portsmouth Road close to the Black Fox Inn near Liphook, Sussex Police said.

Both drivers had to be cut out of their vehicles following the crash at about 10:50 GMT on Wednesday.

The Ford driver, a 64-year-old man from Hambledon, Hampshire, sustained multiple, potentially life-threatening injuries and the driver of the Honda, a 34-year-old woman from Liphook, also suffered multiple injuries.

  13. UKIP leader Henry Bolton admits he was wrong to claim Sandhurst degreepublished at 18:29 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

UKIP leader Henry Bolton has admitted he was wrong to claim he had a degree from Sandhurst.

Mr Bolton listed a BA from the military academy on his profile on networking site LinkedIn.

But after Channel 4 News pointed out the qualification did not exist, the former army officer changed the entry on the site to "military studies".

Asked if he accepted that listing the degree was wrong, he replied: "Yes. Just to be clear on it, that's all."

He told The Emma Barnett Show on BBC Radio 5 live: "I've got one qualification there, it's an NVQ level 6 and that's all I'm saying."

Mr Bolton said the networking site "didn't have a facility for NVQ Level 6".

  16. Police clarification over controversial "sexting" lawpublished at 16:47 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

    Lizzie Massey
    BBC Live reporter

A police force has said it is "not looking to criminalise young people or their parents" after the NSPCC criticised the law around "sexting".

It is a crime for a child to take or share an explicit image or video of themselves or anyone else under 18, and parents could be liable if their name is on the contract of the phone used.

Earlier Kent Police sent out a warning about "bait out" pages on social media - where young people are encouraged to share sexual images but are then shamed and bullied.

Det Supt Susie Harper said sending images "could mean police turning up at the family home with a search warrant, property being seized, potential arrests and innocent people being suspected of serious offences".

But the NSPCC said criminalising children and parents is not the answer.

A spokeswoman added: "Children who share a naked image of themselves should be taught why it's a bad idea, supported and safeguarded."

Kent Police’s Ass Ch Con, Tony Blaker, said: "We recognise that our warning about the risk of parents becoming involved in a police investigation has given the wrong impression.

"Our priority is encouraging parents and children to have open conversations about this issue."

  17. Fresh allegation made against bishop George Bellpublished at 16:37 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2018

George Bell was Bishop of Chichester from 1929 until his death in 1958

The Church of England has received a new allegation against the late former Bishop of Chichester George Bell who was accused of historical sexual abuse years after his death.

The claim emerged after independent reviewer Lord Carlile concluded last year the church had “rushed to judgement” when it reached anout-of-court settlement with a woman who said she had been abused by Bell as a girl.

It is understood that the new allegation does not relate to that woman, known as “Carol”.

The church said in a statement it was now working with Sussex Police and that the latest allegation would be subject to independent investigation.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “On Tuesday 30 January we received information from the Church of England concerning the late bishop George Bell.

"The information will be assessed in order to establish what further enquiries need to be made."
