Chants of “Harry, Harry, Harry” rang out among the vast crowd that turned out to meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton.
After chatting to members of the public, the royal couple were greeted at the Pavilion entrance by pupils from Queen’s Park School.
Harry traded high fives and handshakes with the children as his wife spoke to other youngsters.
Among them was nine-year-old Isla who said: “Harry said ‘how are you?’, ‘what are you doing?’, ‘what’s your favourite subject?
“And Meghan just said, ‘How are you?’. I was really excited.”
