    Meghan stopped to chat, with people talking to her about the sights she'll see during her trip to Sussex and welcoming her to the county.

    The Duke and the US-born former actress will be shown the US Declaration of Independence during a visit to Edes House, in Chichester.

    It is one of only two contemporary handwritten ceremonial manuscript copies, with the other being the signed copy housed in the National Archives in Washington.

    The Sussex Declaration, as it has become known, was discovered at the West Sussex Record Office in 2016.
